Dive Connection: The "Elbow"
One of the 70 dive sites waiting to be sampled at Turneffe is the "Elbow", located on the extreme southern end of the atoll. With a 3,000 foot wall and some converging currents filled with nutrients this can be one of the most exciting dives anyone can do in the Caribbean.
However this dive is very dependent on tide flow, current and weather conditions and due to the depth and the current present requires more diving experience.
Definitely put this site down on your "must see" list.
